Miss-Speak #75 – There Goes My Parent Of The Year Award…

#75 I emerge from a shower to the Miss bawling at the top of her lungs from her feeding chair yet again... Me: What? What? Miss: I - I - I - drew on my faaaaaaaaaace! Me: <peering at the many repetitive ink marks all over her face> You did that on purpose, didn't you? (Miss nods tearfully) Me: Then why are you crying? Miss: Be-Be-cause......... I - I - I drew on my faaaaaaaaaace! Me: Well... (Belatedly I remember she's actually done that before)... So you could cry about it? Miss: <tearfully> Yeeeesss....! Me: Erm ok, have a good cry then... (What? Like I'm going for Parent of The Year? She wants to cry, right?)
What? She's not crying here right... (What she was doing was yelling "I CAN SEE INSIDE THIS WINDOWWW!"

Well she's not crying here... (What she was doing was yelling "I CAN SEE INSIDE THIS WINDOWWW!"

About Aileen

I blog about living and raising my son in Hong Kong - where toddlers have entrance interviews, parents keep test score spreadsheets, private school debentures can trade for more than half a million USD. Raising Rockstar's the most important thing I'll ever do. We show our true colors by the choices we make in bringing up our children. My blog is a message to my toddler son, about what the world and his parents are like today - for when he becomes a teenager and knows everything.

We all need a good cry now and then. 😀

Where is the above place? Why do they have a climbing slope for children to climb up and look into the windows?

I think it just happened to be installed there… It’s in Rockstar’s school, one of the Miss’ all-time favourite areas to play, and we were waiting to pick him up after school activities…
