Me: OMG WHAT’S THAT??? PLEASE LET IT NOT BE A TICK PLEASE LET IT NOT BE A TICK PLEASE LET IT NOT BE GIANT PREGNANT TICK FULL OF TICK BABIES…

Cautiously, I pluck it off the wall with a tissue. It turns out to be a tiny bit of blue tack. Thank heaven. Us and some neighbors have been complaining about a roach problem. 4 years in this apartment this the first time that’s happened. I thought we were also developing a tick problem. And even without tick fever or a baby, I really, really hate ticks. Especially the pregnant ones.

Me: What’s this?? Is it blue tack?! Did you put it here?? It’s right at your eye level!!

Rockstar: You were supposed to think it was a boogie. Not a tick. 

Me: HOW IS THAT BETTER?

Rockstar: Boogies don’t have babies. 

Me: So instead of trying to freak me out a lot, you were only trying to freak me out the normal amount?

Rockstar: I wasn’t trying very hard to freak you out. I… needed things to shoot at (with laser pointer Kings gave him recently).

Me: So you put spots on the wall??

Rockstar: You said don’t shoot at the baby.
