Overheard recently…

Queen E: Once I made a wish. It didn’t work. Wishing doesn’t work.

Rockstar: What did you wish for?

Queen E: A frog. In a box. Holding a lolly. A real lolly. 

Me: Um…

Rockstar: I wonder why that didn’t work out.

Queen E: <nodding> Ya. …So can I have a frog? 

Me: What?

Queen E: Or a lolly. 

Rockstar: Wow.

Me (to Rockstar): No, wait. This is your sister, remember?

Rockstar: Do you actually want the frog more or the lolly?

Queen E: …The frog… The… lolly… The frog… This is too hard. The frog.  

Rockstar: What are you going to do with a frog?

Queen E: Put it in my pocket when I go to school. 

 And here we have Little Miss Hardcore trying to burst balloons before bedtime for kicks…

(And Rockstar is trying to stop her because the sound bothers him)
