The Miss has been going through a phase of making demands, changing her mind back and forth, and – predictably – having meltdowns… After one such…..
Rockstar: See now, wasn’t that silly (to throw another full-blown tantrum)? Don’t you feel silly now?

“Make your shopping easier” – by popping the toddler in the cart (you hope)
She brought the rabbit for a spin before setting him down. No, we didn’t get him though I wouldn’t have minded because this: –
I believe the term is “guilt-free shopping”
We did get a soft toy dragon for JD to “kill” though, with satisfyingly flail-y limbs and tail and wings 🙂
Does Miss Rockstar have meltdowns in school?

Re meltdown… I think peer pressure keeps the worst of it in check in a classroom situation (I hope!), but with just a few toddlers I’ve still seen her push it… Can’t really see it coming either, some days she decides to change her mind/ need or want something UNTIL you can’t possibly fulfill it – and then she just HAS to melt down, you see. Something like that. It’s almost like she’s decided that some days she shall have an impending meltdown scheduled for the day. I don’t know what triggers it, seems she has a meltdown or naughty timetable known only to her 😀 Rockstar did this a bit too when he was younger, but way not as much as her. Most of his meltdowns however were not because he DECIDES to want something you can’t fulfill, they’re because of temper he can’t control
