Brunchtime…..
This is a picture of Kings taking a picture of his meal to send to the dietician his doc recommended. He was feeling virtuous, until his phone buzzed, “That portion size is worth FIVE portions of ‘meat’ (i.e. meat or alternatives per the booklet guide he was given).” Rockstar btw, had the exact same meal. Well, 80% of it, he couldn’t quite finish his entire grilled salmon steak…
Is that a plate of salad next to the salmon steak meal? Is it part of the diet plan?
It’s my mum’s plate of stir-fried greens (so no, not part of his diet plan…) He can eat a lot more veggies than what’s on his plate, plus that bowl of yellow basmati rice, but can’t be stir-fried with as much oil as everyone else’s… He was also dismayed to get a list from the waiter/kitchen detailing what goes into the rice (like, half a doz spices – their indian food is good) – and turns out there’s butter in it so now he can’t have that either 🙁
