This is a picture of what Little Miss drew on her brother:

Yes, as a matter of fact, that happens to be permanent marker. He was like that for a day, went to sleep like that (because he doesn’t care), finally next morning it bothered me enough to try and scrub it off with nail polish remover andĀ lotsĀ of baby massage oil. Because it was Rockstar’s yellow-green belt taekwondo grading this evening and somehow I thought it would be more respectful not to show up with deliberate unibrow. I mean, I remember teammates being kicked out of the exam hall for walking in without their belts properly tied and all.

Though I really don’t know what the rules are for taking your grading with marker on your face…

Rockstar looks so happy and calm in the photo before the grading so I think congrats is in order.

When did Miss Rockstar draw the line on her brother? While he was asleep? So smart of her not to draw on her own face too.

Anywhere she drew on? I was told my sister drew on walls when she was young.

She drew it while they were both messing with the roll of paper on a whiteboard that I set up for them… Cos then he sits down and she’s standing next to him and can reach his face….

Actually she drew on herself too… Quite often, in fact, but so far only on the sides of her face, her neck…. she’s drawn on my neck as well…. No, no walls she can get at (which is probably the only reason she didn’t draw on the walls – Rockstar certainly used to do it)

Strangely enough the stuff on her face came off fairly easily (though not completely) – maybe because it was fresh – I didn’t realize Rockstar had stuff on him too until it was dry. He thought it was hilarious. When he remembered he had it on him.

As for the grading, I’ve never seen a little kid so beside himself excited to be taking an “exam”. He had to wait a little long (to him) because we missed a grading from traveling so much over the last school hols…
