Mother’s Day

So…  I received from my dear hub and son a bug-filled card (one of Rockstar’s obsessions has been creepie-crawlies for some time – I hope he doesn’t, like the US government, move on to an obsession about the Real Thing).  Or at least he could leave it at ripping up fake bags – I mean bugs – on tv.  I also got a Links of London pressie, tied with their signature black grosgrain bow.  “Open it,” Rockstar commands.  “It’s a ladybug.”  My husband Kingston grumbles at the spoiled surprise but really, Rockstar (his name appropriately means “little King” btw) can do no wrong.  I’m wondering if this extends to Rockstar bringing home a new Prada handbag.  Make that Chloe. To be believable, it would have to be Chloe.

May I always be grateful for the little things – like the ladybug and clover necklace from my two men – in fact, I am extremely grateful it wasn’t a real spider or cockroach, which is probably why Rockstar has already moved on to more interesting things.

This is what he watches every night on Youtube:

We now have a tent in our living room so Rockstar can get in a little gentleman camping before his next playdate.  He’s got cushions and some books in there.  If he invites you in it’s quite an honor.  He hasn’t invited the dog or our helper.  He can’t see the tv from his tent, so I get to pig out on E entertainment – Life in the Fab Lane or Dallas Divas and Daughters.  All living rooms should have tents.
