Little Miss Rockstar Blogs Her New Plan For Happy

Hello, everyone.

I haven’t written in some time because I was working on my Secret Identity. But Mummee says she’s been swamped this week, last night she even had a Secret Meeting of Mums (and Dads) which she claims was “special training” by Ko-ko’s school. But it was at that unearthly hour before my bedtime so I’m not sure how much of that I believe. She probably just wanted to go out and drink wine. (Any time she’s not with me I’m convinced she’s out drinking wine. She owes me a blog post about her Secret Special Training In Ko-ko’s School just to prove she wasn’t out drinking wine.

But anyway while she was otherwise preoccupied, I decided to go ahead and unveil my latest Secret Identity, even if not all my costume has arrived in the mail yet.

Iiiiiiiiiiiiit’s scoot-scoot-scooter girl! With awesome powers of cuteness to make you smile. The idea for this post was inspired by Mummee’s friend sending her a picture of his 27 month old daughter…… who has taken part in her first bike race! See, this high-achieving superhero rockstar has a mummy and daddy who are both avid bikers and fitness freaks (Mummee knew her daddy when he was still on his first black belt back when they had just grown up and weren’t ancient yet) so their little girl is following in their footsteps and bringing them all kinds of joy on two wheels.

But this action footage is even better:

So anyway this got me thinking:

Every rockstar has it within them to be a superhero and make their mummy and daddy smile when they’re having a lousy day.

See?

See? I’m with Happy.

Here I am handing out The Leaflets of Joy. The scientific explanation for this is, as these leaflets change hands you just feel deliriously happy. Other rockstars have also shared with me how waving them about can produce a similar high. So I’ve been getting high a lot. This is the new greatest thing ever, leaflets and other papers are after all, legal. Lousy day in the office? Wave papers about like you just don’t care. You try it.

Then when I’m done, my trusty servant sidekick (Mummee) even recycles them back into their holders for the next Waver Of Paper About. Obviously, she is ecstatic. She’s picking up The Leaflets of Joy! Oh, the joy.

But that’s not all. Here I am bringing the action to a local Starbucks. Now, there’s  a suggestion for all aspiring superhero rockstars:

Ready? (whispers) The packets of coffee beans are so easy to pick up and toddle about with, you can keep up with Happy assignments while giving your servant sidekick a break by putting back the coffee bean packets you’ve taken out, right where you found them. Remember to keep Helmet on, because Helmet amplifies Superpowers Of Cuteness. There are work warriors in coffee queues who crack up at your Helmet On Legs. Especially if you remember to be all serious as you go about your superhero duties. Earnest Helmets On Legs are even more effective for banishing bad cases of The Mondays (just remember to refrain from any diva fits – this aggravates said condition <all knowledgeable>.)

Ooo. Flowers!

So anyway where was I?

Ah yes, AND SO the world wants more superheroes.

And with that, my work here is done <cracks knuckles> fine, imagine I was cracking my knuckles. I have to sign off for now, Happy duty calls. Oh btw, Mummee ordered me a simple costume for that Annual Big Superhero Rockstar Convention (a.k.a. Halloween.) Hope that works out, some of these costumes must be from Superhugebaby.com  or something but anyway, remember: we all have it in us to be Superhero Rockstars with or without the costume. Mummee, please cue appropriately grand fanfare music.

Scooter girl (or boy) could be you. Have you made your mummy and daddy smile today?

Uh, only always.

Signed,

The Little Miss Rockstar

Thank you guest blogger! Hope you will blog more. 🙂 You look so adorable on the scooter with your helmet on. Very brave too for willing to learn how to scoot around. Can’t wait to see you in your superhero clothes.

Thank you Auntie Mun. I’ve fallen a few times and learned the importance of having the helmet on, but now the scooter goes SO MUCH FASTER when Mummee is pushing I’m not sure I can go back to doing my own 😛 I shall have to work on that I guess. Maybe Ko-ko can help.

      Love,
